Job Brief:

The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for leading and managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR policies and procedures. This role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other members of the executive team.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and implement HR initiatives that are aligned with the company's objectives
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including crafting job descriptions, sourcing potential candidates, conducting interviews, and deciding on hires
  • Manage employee relations, tackle conflicts, address employee issues, and oversee investigations
  • Design and implement competitive and cost-efficient compensation and benefits programs
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with the company's values and culture
  • Monitor HR metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's goals and objectives
