Job Brief:

As a Behavior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing and monitoring those plans. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals with behavioral challenges.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments using a variety of methods, including direct observation, interviews, and data collection
  • Develop behavior intervention plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the individual's needs
  • Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans, making adjustments as needed based on data analysis
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff members on the implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in behavior analysis, attending conferences and training sessions as needed

Requirements and Skills:

  • Master's degree in behavior analysis or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in data collection software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
