Job Brief:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights. This role reports to the Director of Finance and will interact with various departments across the organization.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
