Gateflix has years of experience in the offline competitive entrance exams and coaching class industry across India. They realised coaching classes were overpriced as each student would have to enrol themselves into various courses to excel in the competitive education system. They wanted to make these coaching classes for entrance exams affordable and accessible to students by digitalising this industry. Here is a summary of their requirements:

Make education affordable
With limitations caused by classroom teaching, the courses were normally priced at a higher range. Since one student usually sits for more than two or three entrance tests, they would also have to enrol to more than one course at a coaching institute making it costlier.
Problem 2
Reach students all across India
It is not viable to open a coaching institute in every small town or city in India, hence it is difficult to reach all the students who want to take these entrance tests.
Problem 3
Ensure student success
Without an e-learning software for coaching institutes, it is usually a trial and error method to find student’s areas of improvement and checking or tracking student’s success on these tests is ineffective.


Keeping Gateflixs’ end goals in mind, we launched an extremely successful e-learning platform that has exceeded their expectations in many ways. Here is our detailed 3 step methodology to bring this idea into execution:




As soon as their team met with us and discussed their business idea and goals, our team studied the competitive entrance exams industry pan India, conducted elaborate research on all courses, exams, government exam styles, student statistics and much more to develop a strategic business and e-commerce plan for their e-learning platform.




With proper brainstorming, questionnaires and surveys, e-learning platform mockups were designed and developed by our technical team. This was an important step in the process where Gateflix understood the end product and could give in various alterations or ideas that they needed in their website.

Recorded Live Classes
With the e-Learning platform we built, the students can access the entire course content via recorded videos and live classes both. Moreover, the e-learning platform has the ability to convert any uploaded video into different resolutions depending on students' devices and networks, just like Youtube. This feature makes the website more useful for all the students. The students can study at their own convenient timing and in their own space.
Affordable education
Since Gateflix is creating all the training related content by themselves, they are able to offer these courses at a much lesser cost. Moreover, the e-learning platform has no boundaries or limitations. Hence, unlimited students across India can sign up to purchase the courses. This way, they can make their reach higher and cost lower. Now Gateflix is able to meet their goals of providing affordable education to the maximum of the students in India.
Special features like mock tests, test analysis, leaderboard
To ensure progressive student learning, students have a short quiz on the completion of each chapter to move on to the next chapter. Students get the experience of actual exams with mock tests designed exactly like the actual government entrance tests. Students can see their rank on the leaderboard section to know their progress. A detailed analysis of mock tests is made for each student to reduce mistakes with right solution methods.
Learning accuracy analysis
Gateflix wants to ensure their students get all the possible help to succeed in the entrance exams. Our e-learning software helps students to categorise questions into tough, medium and easy. So that every time they attempt a mock test, they can check how many tough, medium or easy questions they answered and how many answers were correct. It helps them to focus on answering the easy questions to avoid negative marking.
Student database management
Our student database management system has automated manual work that enables the admin team to assess necessary data at any place and any time through the internet. The admin module allowed the admin to make changes in faculty and student academic and personal details. As all the data is stored centrally, the admin team can easily view and manage orders, product reports and keep track of sales across various cities.
Detailed user analytics
The admin team at Gateflix could get detailed user analytics including, courses that are selling the most, which city has the highest student enrolments, courses that are buying together and the like. Each of these areas shaped their decisions and influenced the instructional methods and strategies they have chosen to implement. It enables them to plan their promotional strategies to maximize their students' reach and revenue.
One of the best features is that the website is built using Progressive Web Applications. It is aimed at making a web application function similarly to a mobile or desktop app. Now Gateflix doesn’t need to invest in developing a separate android app, and students can browse and purchase courses from their mobile devices seamlessly. It enables students to access a native-like mobile version of their favourite website with a single tap.
